Executive Assistant to Chief Executive - £Competitive, City of Bristol

Our client is a social purpose organisation, committed to delivering change across the region, primarily through their work in education, care for older people and charitable giving. Based in Clifton, Bristol, a small but busy team supports the organisation to deliver its mission of helping communities across Greater Bristol to thrive.

The role of Executive Assistant is varied and fast-paced, with the opportunity to work with key people from across the city. This is an exciting time to join the team, with the organisation evolving its role in Bristol and accelerating its work to improve equality, diversity and inclusion across all areas of activity.

In this high-profile role, you will be the first point of contact for all administrative business, arranging board meetings and taking accurate minutes, coordinating diaries alongside a busy programme of visits, as well as meticulously preparing letters, reports and presentations.

You will work across a range of different projects where your excellent planning and organisational skills will come to the fore. Your integrity, drive and attention to detail will inspire confidence as you build relationships with key people from across the public, private and voluntary sectors.

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, you will be confident at multi-tasking, working independently and meeting deadlines. A natural problem solver, you will be proactive, resourceful and collaborative in your role, ultimately supporting the organisation to achieve its objectives and deliver the greatest impact for the people of Greater Bristol.

A consummate professional, you will hit the ground running, thrive under pressure and manage sensitive information with the utmost discretion. You will be an excellent communicator with first class written skills, and you will use your own experience and initiative to help improve efficiency within the team. You will also possess excellent IT skills, including being confident with Microsoft 365.

This role is a full-time position, but prospective candidates who wish to work part-time hours (four days per week) will also be considered.
