Gi Group are currently recruiting a Production Operative to join our well established client in Almondsbury to become a member of a multi-functional production team producing high quality machine made bricks.

* Salary - 29,311 plus Shift Allowance 4,396 per annum, paid Monthly
* Potential annual bonus - dependent on business performance
* Location - Almondsbury, Bristol
* Reporting to - Production Manager
* Type of Contract - Permanent
* Hours of work:
- For Initial Training Period 8-10 weeks - 6am-2.30m Monday-Thursday, 6am-2pm
Friday
- Switching to: 5on/5off (6am to 6pm) days only - no nights - two weekends off per
month

Key responsibilities:
* Hands on Cleaning of machinery and plant
* Operation of mobile plant as required
* Adhering to health & safety, quality and environmental systems
* To deliver through the process improvement initiatives and continuous improvement
* Creating and maintaining the highest standards of 5S's housekeeping and environmental management
* Assist in the development of SSOP's and Risk Assessments
* Multi-functional operation, possibly cross departmental.
* Localised Environmental and Quality Responsibilities and health and safety procedures.

Skills required as a Production Operative:
* Ability to rotor and prioritise your own workload
* Excellent timekeeping, attendance and flexibility
* Self-motivated
* Excellent communication skills.
* High degree of Health & Safety awareness
* Ability to work as part of a team or on your own
* Ability to learn to operate key manufacturing and mobile plant
* Computer literate.
* Willingness to undergo further training and development
* FLT Counterbalance Licence desirable
