Responsibilities and duties

As a Commercial Lead you will:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain commercial and procurement processes.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and financial targets.
  • Lead contract negotiations and support bidding processes to manage risks.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships for long-term success.
  • Provide financial oversight and report on project progress.
  • Train and mentor the commercial team, ensuring they are prepared for future projects.

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

  • Degree in a relevant field. I.e. Business management, Construction or engineering degree.
  • Proven experience in a Senior Commercial Manager role, handling multi-million-pound, multi-year contracts.
  • Strong knowledge of contract terms (e.g., NEC/FIDIC) and construction regulations.
  • Skilled in corporate finance, stakeholder management, and complex negotiations.
  • Leadership experience, including team management and development.
  • CIPS/ICM accreditation.
