Your new roleHays is working with an international company who are looking for a finance analyst on a 6-month fixed-term contract. Their office is based in Central Bristol and the team go into the office 2 days a week. Start and finish times can be flexible. Salary for the role is £33,000-38,000 (pro rata). Key responsibilities:

  • Prepare month-end accounts for operational overheads in alignment with deadlines, ensuring accurate, timely, and complete reporting.
  • Provide weekly and monthly analysis focused on warehouse costs, outbound distribution, and inbound freight. Review this analysis with transaction originators to ensure variances have been examined, root causes identified, and necessary GL corrections processed. Produce monthly summary schedules detailing variances and collaborate with the business to minimise these discrepancies from the agreed budgeted standards.
  • Support Supply Chain stakeholders by providing information to address queries, enhance cost management, prepare business cases, and improve overall understanding.
  • Support forecasting and budgeting cycles, taking responsibility as required.
