This position is for a diligent Financial Analyst who will be part of the Accounting & Finance team at an gobal powerhouse, specialising in a variety of household name brands. The role involves scrutinizing financial data and using it to aid business decision-making, liaising with stakeholders across the globe and working in emerging markets.

Description

  • Gather and analyse financial data
  • Develop financial models for decision support
  • Guide cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures
  • Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools
  • Perform market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comps
  • Maintain a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models
  • Identify financial status by comparing and analysing actual results with plans and forecasts
  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Deliver details to stakeholders across the business

Profile

A successful Financial Analyst should have:

  • A degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting or relevant commercial experience
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for producing reports and presentations
  • Good knowledge of financial modelling and forecasting
  • Ability to analyse financial data and prepare financial reports
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confident in presenting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Any exposure to Oracle, Power BI, Sap would be ideal
