Business Analyst, hybrid

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

Hybrid role: 2/3 days per week expected on site

Our client, a leading large corporate organisation, based in Bristol are looking for an enthusiastic business analyst to join their team. They are seeking someone with a strong background in financial services and someone who is flexible and has brilliant communication skills.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work with transformation and business stakeholders to ensure documented business requirements and implementation are accurately translated into solution options.
  • You will be maintaining accurate records of individual changes.
  • Document and articulate the impact of proposed solutions on benefits, costs and risks, in order to inform project and business decisions.
  • You will be consulting with the business stakeholders to understand and evaluate the impacts of change, documenting as is/to be process models.

The candidate ideally must:

  • Have adequate written and verbal communication skills and the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Have flexibility to travel across office sites, to provide initial and ongoing support through the life cycle of a programme.
  • Have strong attention to detail, good fact-finding skills and ability to make evaluative judgements based on both quantitative and qualitative information.
  • Be able to use strong interpersonal skills and confidence to select and apply relevant analytical and process engineering tools.
  • Have broad awareness of the financial services industry.
  • Have a systematic, disciplined and analytical approach to problem solving.
