Description
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements
- Learn and perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
- Analyse financial data and create financial models to inform business decisions
- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Identify trends, advise the company, and recommend actions based on sound analysis
- Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures
- Work closely across the business to provide invaluable and unique insights from internal data
- Gain and update job knowledge to remain informed about novelty in the field
Profile
A successful Junior Finance Analyst should have:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Experience working within a finance capacity
- Strong analytical skills with the desire and to collect, organise, analyse and disseminate significant amounts of information
- Eager to learn financial analysis tactics financial modelling and forecasting
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, and financial software applications would be a bonus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Desire to learn and expand knowledge basis into a new career
