Robert Half are excited to be partnering with one of Bristol's leading employers to recruit a Senior Finance Analyst to start in the new year.

Duration: 12 month FTC

Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum

Start date: Ideally January

Working pattern: 3 days on site (North Bristol) 2 remote.

Responsibilities to include:

  • Provide financial support and insights to management to enable informed decision-making.
  • Support full-cycle project accounting, including proposal development, execution, and closure.
  • Collaborate on financial Estimates at Completion and present findings to senior leadership.
  • Analyse performance, address cost variances, and develop mitigation plans.
  • Extract data, compile performance reports, and assist with variance analysis.
  • Manage monthly and quarterly financial forecasting for designated business areas and projects.
  • Assess risks and opportunities, supporting the development and implementation of mitigation plans to drive profitability.
  • Analyse programme performance, including progress to plan, performance taken, and financial impacts on orders, revenue, earnings, and cash flow.
  • Provide strategic financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions.
  • Contribute to standardisation and consistency across financial analysis practices.
  • Develop performance metrics and management information for use by leadership.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience as a finance business partner to operational leaders.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to establish required reporting processes.
  • Strong business acumen and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to deliver business results and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other IT tools.
  • Qualified accountant with a background in finance.
