A rapidly growing outsourced manufacturing facility specialising in safety-critical components for the aerospace industry, is looking for an Account Manager to join their Commercial Team. They primarily supply to OEMs, with additional clients including 1st Tier Suppliers and distributors. Their "Build to Print" model ensures that they manufacture complex components to the exact specifications provided by their partners.

The Account Manager will be responsible for managing existing accounts, ensuring customer expectations and standards are met. This role is crucial in maintaining strong relationships with their clients and representing the company to all external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Manage and nurture relationships with existing accounts, primarily the OEMs, as well as 2nd tier suppliers and distributors.
  • Customer Representation: Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their expectations and standards are met across the facility.
  • Internal Coordination: Work closely with the internal customer team and the Commercial Manager to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Travel Requirements: Conduct face-to-face meetings with customers quarterly, requiring approximately 6-8 trips per year to locations including France, Belgium and Germany.
  • Commercial Team Integration: Become an integral part of the Commercial Team, supporting the transition of the Commercial Manager to a more business development-focused role.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the aerospace industry, particularly in manufacturing safety-critical components.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent the company confidently and professionally.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to address and resolve customer issues effectively, maintaining a balance between customer satisfaction and company interests.
  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel internationally for customer meetings.
