Do you have a track record of steering companies through scale-up phases and successful exits? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join a dynamic, private equity-backed consumer products company based near Bristol.

As the Chief Financial Officer, you will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for shaping and executing the financial strategy of the business. Reporting to the CEO and Board, you will lead the finance function, supporting the company's growth ambitions and long-term vision. You will play a critical role in partnering with senior leadership to identify and deliver strategic initiatives, including international expansion, product diversification, and preparations for a future exit.

Key Responsibilities: Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture. Drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes. Provide strategic and commercial insight to support decision-making and growth strategies. Optimise cash flow, working capital, and balance sheet management. Develop and implement robust financial controls, ensuring compliance and risk management. Act as a key liaison with the private equity sponsor, ensuring alignment on value creation initiatives. Partner with the CEO on M&A opportunities, funding, and capital structure planning. Lead the preparation for a future exit, working closely with external advisors and stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate Profile: Proven experience as a CFO, Finance Director, or senior finance leader within a private equity-backed environment. Background in consumer products, FMCG, or related sectors. Strong commercial acumen with a focus on driving profitability and growth. Demonstrated experience in scale-up environments, ideally having led a business through to a successful exit. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels. Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach when needed. Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a solid technical foundation.
