Robert Half Finance & Accounting are currently recruiting for an Interim Credit and Billings Manager to join a business based in Central Bristol on a fixed term contract basis for a period of 12 months. This is for a longstanding client who can offer a broad benefits package, excellent working environment and great flexibility with hybrid working.

Role: Credit and Billings Manager

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 DOE & Qualifications

Duration: 12 months - Until February 2026

Start date: Flexible - ASAP - January 2025

Working pattern: 35 hours a week. Hybrid working with one day a week in the office

The role involves:

  • Line management of 6 team members - 1:1's, performance reviews etc
  • Assisting with coordination of tasks between the team
  • Dealing with escalations, resolving complex queries
  • Internal & external stakeholder management on a global scale - Finance & non-finance people
  • Looking after month end tasks - aged debt reporting & reviewing, preparing month end pack and providing commentary to management
  • Month end reconciliations
  • Quarterly reviews with "heads of" departments to talk through processes, debt, billing management
  • Building customer relationships
  • Assisting the wider team/business with urgent & long-term projects
  • Continuous development regarding new processes/ideas to improve processes and efficiency

Skills/experience needed:

  • Ideally CICM or AAT qualified
  • Strong communicator - Building relationships and liaising with the wider business
  • Natural problem solver
  • Excellent people Manager
  • Confidence to share ideas and suggest new ways of working & processes
  • Previous experience in both Credit Control & Billings, to have the ability to solve complex issues and queries
  • Ideally multi-site & multi-currency experience- Although this isn't a necessity
  • Open & honest character, with a pro-active attitude
  • Able to commit to the full length of contract
