Robert Half have partnered with an organisation based in East Bristol to recruit a Finance Business Partner to join them immediately.

This role has been created due to recent changes in the team structure.

Start: ASAP

Salary: Up to £39,000 per annum (Hourly rate equivalent)

Duration: 3-6 months

Hybrid working: 2/3 days on site per week

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Serve as the primary financial partner for budget holders, providing monthly analysis, forecasts, and decision-making support.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Financial Reporting & Controls on budgets, internal/external reporting, and statutory compliance.
  • Model investment appraisals, including sensitivity analysis.
  • Maintain the financial aspects of the asset management system.
  • Monitor capital, development, and sales programmes; support the fixed asset register.
  • Enhance financial reporting.
  • Propose solutions to complex financial challenges and identify new income streams.
  • Assist with stakeholder and grant reporting.

Experience Required:

  • AAT Qualified or CIMA/ACCA Part Qualified or QBE
  • Experience of Business Partnering and translating financial information into business intelligence.
  • Experienced in supporting the production of monthly reporting, including reporting on KPIs.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge.
  • Experienced in working to a month end timetable.
  • Experienced in building relationships with operational colleagues.
  • Experience of analysing financial performance and converting data to insight.
