Commercial Finance Director

Robert Half are working with a highly inquisitive business to recruit an ambitious Commercial Finance Director.

The Role

  • Oversee the financial aspects of mergers and acquisitions (M&A), managing the entire process from start to finish and closing transactions
  • Business partnering with the SLT including the COO - providing valuable insights to guide business strategies and goals.
  • Presenting to the SLT and deputising for the CFO when needed
  • Support/lead in contract negotiations, as well as address and resolve financial and contractual issues
  • Champion efforts to improve company-wide performance by pinpointing areas to boost efficiency and profitability.
  • Work closely with the Sales teams to assess and secure major new business prospects.

Your Profile

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, ICAEW etc)
  • Ability to business partner with non-finance and c-suite level
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced, ever-changing business
  • Demonstrable experience leading M&A transactions from end to end
