An opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and wide-reaching Finance Manager in this successful professional services SME. Managing a small team, you will be responsible for all financial management, reporting and controlling with the company, to include:
- Month end accounts, analysis and close activities
- Financial and other KPIs
- Budgeting and cash flow forecasting
- Supporting the leadership teams
- Reviewing and improving existing systems, processes and working practices
- Monthly payroll processing
- Reporting weekly billing and WIP
- Weekly payment runs
- Quarterly VAT returns
- Client facing at times
The successful candidate will be qualified with strong relevant experience, likely gained within an SME (industry or professional service / practice environment). You will be hands on and able to demonstrate both initiative and a pro-active approach. You will need high attention to detail, and be an open, collaborative communicator.
