Your new companyReporting to the Group, this Engineering company is looking for a Finance Manager to join its Senior Leadership team to lead on all things finance, managing the small team here in the UK. Your new roleReporting to the Site Director and Group Financial Controller, this is a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the finance function. This forms part of the site leadership team and duties include:

  • Management of a small transactional team
  • Manage budget and forecasts of all UK entities
  • Monitor working capital, with a particular focus on inventory, credit management and cashflow.
  • Prepare and report on weekly and monthly financial reporting
  • Ensure compliance with group policies and procedures
  • Input into the year-end audit process and liaise with auditors
  • Analyse KPIs against budget and highlighting areas for either development or concern
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of systems and processes.

What you'll need to succeedWe are ideally looking for a qualified accountant, with industry experience in an engineering, manufacturing or another product-based business. Other sector experience would also be considered. You should have good analytical skills, be commercially focused and have good people skills. It goes without saying you should be comfortable ensuring that controls and compliance is adhered to with a professional approach.
