Reed Finance is excited to be partnering on a retained basis with a high growth business based in Emersons Green looking for an ambitious Finance Manager to join their team.Salary circa. £50,000 + generous benefits + equity options.
This role is critical for business succession planning and offers a real opportunity to make a difference both to the business and your career. The successful candidate will start as a Finance Manager with the aim of developing into a Finance Director over time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Management Accounts
- Preparation of accruals and prepayments
- Stock Reconciliation
- Month-end reporting
- VAT Reconciliation and Submission
- CIS Reconciliation and Submission
- Cash Forecasting
- Analysis Reporting, requiring a good knowledge of Excel
- Working to deadlines and under pressure
- Assisting other team members, including covering sales ledger invoices
- Learning from the bottom up, including sales and purchase ledger processes
- Exposure to supporting Acquisition activity.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Qualified accountant
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Excel and other financial software
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges
- Team player with a can-do attitude
