CDL is seeking an experienced 7.5 tonne driver for a temp to perm position in Avonmouth.
The role involves delivering goods across the southwest, averaging 45 hours per week on a 4 days on, 2 days off rota.
Candidates should have a valid driving licence (category C or C1), a valid CPC card, and a digital tachograph card.
The expected total earnings (OTE) for this position is £35,000, with opportunities for overtime and a performance-based quarterly bonus.
Successful candidates must demonstrate professionalism, good communication skills, and the ability to manage time effectively.

CDL has been meeting the staffing needs of transport and warehouse businesses for over 20 years. We have an exciting opportunity an experienced 7.5 tonne driver to join our client based in Avonmouth on a temp to perm contract.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods across the southwest.

This position is an average of 45 hours per week, on a 4 days on, 2 days off rota. Overtime is available in addition to a performance based quarterly bonus - OTE £35,000

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
- installation of a range of products including washing machines, dishwashers, TV's (full training and tools provided)
providing a professional service, ensuring goods are delivered and installed safely and efficiently
completing relevant paperwork relating to deliveries
navigating busy roads to optimise timely deliveries whilst driving in accordance with all traffic laws
unloading the vehicle at delivery locations

Candidates must have:-

- a valid, full driving licence (category C or C1) with no more than 6 points
- a valid CPC card and digital tachograph card
- ability and willingness to load and unload
- have good communication skills
- attention to detail and time management skills
- confidence with multi-drop routes

Candidates must present themselves in a professional manner, have a positive attitude towards work and be able to work with time-sensitive deliveries
