Brand new role with an online publishing agency in Bristol, the job was created in order to evolve current working practices and breath fresh air into the work they manage.

Here’s the chance to drive innovation through imaginative storytelling, elevate creative excellence, and unlock growth opportunities.

You’ll shape, lead and deliver world-class content grounded in insight, data and channel best practice. There’s bags of variety in this role, you could be writing a treatment for a new branded video series, then briefing out article creation for a new magazine issue, and next working with the insight team to develop new pitches. Another day might be allocating resource effectively across the studio, mentoring and upskilling the team, managing content projects and deadlines….there’s a full JD you can review for more details!

It’s the chance to be Editor on a market-leading and award-winning magazine in the leisure and entertainment space AND as the lead editorial creative across digital content programmes for a world-famous UK institution and an entertainment brand.

Plus support the creative department, studio and collaborate on exciting new business pitches.

About you:

A background in content strategy and editorial experience from top agencies, with the ability to lead on major pieces of business

The ability to act as Editor for a much loved and respected magazine, plus evolve the creative work digitally for clients. You’ll be attuned to the cut and thrust of print content production while having spent recent years delving into digital and social-first strategies.

A strategic thinker, with an entrepreneurial attitude!

Would be useful:

Understanding of key marketing theories (e.g. laws of growth, the works of Binet and Field, EEAT) and an ability to fluently apply these strategies.

Confident use of tools for insight generation e.g. Ahrefs, GWI, YouGov, WARC.

Content marketing tools and templates e.g. ecosystems, content pillars, customer journeys, SEO and optimisation across owned / paid / earned.
