We are working with a growing Bristol-based company who are focused on improving the sustainability of the one of the UK's largest sector. They're motivated by creating innovative technology products using AI that help us on the journey to Net 0 and decarbonisation. This is a mission-driven organisation who have ambitious targets and impactful company goals and are seeking a Full Stack Engineer to support in scaling their product to the next level.

Responsibilities:

Create and develop scalable, full-stack solutions for a variety of products and in-house applications.
Work autonomously on assigned tasks and deliver results independently.
Adhere to software development best practices, managing deployments on AWS and maintaining SQL data bases.
Develop scalability and performance in the backend in Python.
Shape the direction by actively participating in key decisions alongside Senior Engineers.

Requirements for Success:

Experience in software development using Python - FastAPI/Django/Flask/AI & ML
Experience in frontend development is beneficial but not essential - JavaScript / React / TypeScript
Experience building REST APIs
Understanding of AWS and working with SQL databases
Familiarity with testing frameworks and version control tools
Strong communicator and ability to take imitative to run with projects
Passion for being part of decarbonisation and an organisation at the forefront of sustainability through technology
