Robert Half Finance & Accounting are currently recruiting for an Interim Payroller to join a business based in North Bristol for a period of circa 11 months - Depending on start date. You'll be working within a friendly team in a large organisation which can offer hybrid working and free parking.

Role: Payroller

Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 DOE (Hourly rate equivalent)

Duration: Until October 2025

Start date: Flexible

Working pattern: 37 hours a week. Hybrid working with 3 days a week in the office

Responsibilities include:

  • To provide pension information and support staff with any queries relating to pensions
  • Pensions administration - starters, leavers etc
  • Handling queries regarding staff payroll
  • Changes to employee data - allowances/deductions
  • Monitoring and processing absence, sickness pay etc
  • Processing maternity, paternity, shared parental leave
  • Assisting the team in running the payroll - end to end

Skills/experience needed:

  • Demonstrate payroll & pensions knowledge
  • Previous experience of processing payroll for a large or complex organisation
  • Willingness to learn and broaden pensions & payroll knowledge
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Computer literate
  • Excellent communication and ability to resolve issues
  • Understanding of pension contribution schemes - Auto enrolment as a minimum
  • Good knowledge of HMRC regulations
  • High attention to detail
