A permanent, full-time position for Production Operatives is available in Yate, BS37, with a salary of £28,816 per annum.
The working hours are Monday to Friday from 2pm to 10pm, including an unpaid half-hour lunch break and two paid tea breaks.
Responsibilities include operating laundry machines, managing the washing and drying processes, and ensuring proper handling of garments to avoid cross-contamination.
Candidates must have a full UK manual driving license, be comfortable with manual handling, possess strong communication skills, and have previous experience in a similar role.

Half an hour for lunch break (unpaid) and two paid tea breaks (morning and afternoon)

About the job

Load dirty laundry into washing machines, setting correct wash programme
Record times on washing log sheets
Unload finished washing machines and transfer to dryers
Correctly dealing with dirty and clean garments, without cross contamination
Organise drying rails by station, hanging correct paperwork to end of rail and signing off responsibility paperwork
Remove dry garments after 24 hours, fold and place in relevant clean laundry bag, checking off 3-way check, paperwork, ticket, and garment.
Place clean laundry bags onto the inspection waiting area in day order

The right candidate

Must have full UK manual driving licence - as you will be required to occasionally drive a van to deliver stock
Comfortable with manual handling
Strong communication skills
Able to complete paperwork withing the section
Basic PC understanding
Previous experience in a similar role such as production, warehouse, factory, manufacturing, retail
