A growing business seeks a dedicated Health & Safety Advisor. This role offers a dynamic environment, working with prestigious clients across the UK. The successful candidate will provide expert advice and support to clients, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.Key Responsibilities:- Advise on all health and safety matters.- Develop and deliver training.- Investigate accidents, complete RIDDOR reporting.- Write and monitor safety policies.- Conduct risk and fire assessments.- Make presentations, collect data, identify risks, and conduct fire drills.- Undertake site visits and audits for CDM clients.- Stay current with legislation.- Represent the company at networking events and build a client base.Candidate Requirements:- Effective team contributor with excellent communication skills.- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and used to a fast-paced environment.- Strong interpersonal skills and leadership.- Persistent in resolving issues and adhering to standards.Qualifications and Experience:- NEBOSH National General Certificate (minimum requirement).- Technical member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, committed to advancing to Graduate/Member status.- NEBOSH Fire Certificate and experience in CDM regulations preferred.- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.Skills and Competencies:- Negotiating and networking skills.- Sales experience.- Good judgement and tolerance.- Effective communication and presentation skills.- Methodical and detail-oriented.- Proficiency and self-assurance in tasks.This role offers a stimulating environment with the chance to make a significant impact within a growing company.
