CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

Location: Bristol (BS7)

Position: Teaching Assistant

Type of work: Supporting a child with ASD, carry out professional duties, responsible for group support/1:1 support, ensure the safety and welfare of pupils, 1:1 care, ASD support, ASD trained

Start Date: Immediate

Rate of pay : (Apply online only) p/d, subject to assignment

Hours: 08:30 - 16:00

EXPERIENCE

Desirable:

*Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (not essential)

*Experience of working with various SEND conditions

*Experience of inclusive classroom practice

*Understanding how to fully support the teacher in the classroom

*Previous experience of supporting learning using a range of strategies, both with groups and on a 1:1 basis

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold right to work in the UK

Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

Provide two professional child related references
