Position: Full-Time Teaching Assistant (TA)
Term Time Only: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Start Date: 6th January 2024

Five Education is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated full-time Teaching Assistant (TA) to work in a South Gloucestershire School. This role provides an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of 2 students (ages 6 and 7) with Autism, both of whom are mostly non-verbal and require enthusiastic attention. Early years work experience preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
- The role will be working with two students within is KS1 class throughout the week. You will provide tailored support to both students.
- Support classroom teachers in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.
- Provide tailored support during lessons, activities, and potentially break times.
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
- Support students with communication strategies and interventions to aid their speech and language development.
- Personal care may be required if necessary.

Essential Criteria:
- A genuine interest in supporting children and young people with additional needs.
- The right to work in the UK (we cannot accept sponsorship or skilled worker visas).
- Relevant references and DBS/police checks.
- Available to work 5 days a week (Mon - Fri), term time only (8:30 AM - 3:30 PM).
