Safeguarding Manager - Part Time
My client is seeking a dedicated Safeguarding Champion to oversee their safeguarding responsibilities, act as the main point of contact for audits, and ensure best practice standards in all safeguarding procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement safeguarding standards and criteria.
- Develop and manage training materials and sessions for various groups.
- Produce and update safeguarding communications and deliver related events.
- Handle safeguarding queries, concerns, and cases in a timely manner.
- Draft and implement safeguarding procedures and processes.
- Report and refer serious cases in accordance with internal procedures.
- Collaborate with the HR department on safeguarding strategies.
- Ensure compliance with EFL and Premier League safeguarding standards.
- Be visible and approachable within the club.
Essential Criteria:
- Experience in safeguarding or a related role.
- Knowledge of child protection requirements and childcare legislation.
- Ability to work unsociable hours, including evenings, weekends, and matchdays.
- Desire to understand football governance.
Please note, this is a part time role and the salary on offer is pro rated.
