You are not one to be confined to an office all day, working in isolation or turning a blind eye to subpar practices. This role is far from the typical 9-5 desk job filled with paperwork.

In this position, you will spearhead positive changes and enforce adherence to policies and procedures. Your responsibilities will include conducting audits on bakery, managing raw material / process non-conformances ensuring timely close out by all departments, and overseeing end-of-life and shelf-life testing.

To excel in this role, you must possess the ability to inspire and question, maintain a can-do attitude, and collaborate effectively within a team. As our Technical Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in promoting and upholding high food safety standards and ensuring compliance to enhance customer satisfaction.

  • Previous experience working in food manufacturing in a quality/ technical role.
  • Knowledge of food legislation and food safety principles
  • Food qualification
  • Experience with retailers and 3rd party audits/BRC standards
