Working for growing consultancy with an excellent track record, you will be the Systems Safety Engineer across a range of defence projects focusing on Submarine & Maritime projects. You will be working on complex, technical, exciting and challenging projects with an excellent benefits package and flexible and hybrid working (1 day in the office / 4 days WFH).

You will need experience in producing Safety Reports and Plans, including Safety Case Reports and Safety Management Plans, with a focus on Hazard Identification and Analysis, especially within UK Submarine programs. A background in safety assessment, Hazard Log Management and Systems Engineering principles is essential. Familiarity with DE&S and ASEMS processes is a must, along with the ability to manage multiple projects.
Desirable qualifications include experience with Fault Tree Analysis, Requirements Management, and Failure Modes Effects Analysis. Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering, IEC 61508, and safety assurance for software/hardware is beneficial. Ideal candidates will have an Engineering degree, be Chartered (CEng), or have equivalent experience.
