La Fosse is looking for a Software Product Manager who has experience with SDLC/HDLC within Embedded System / Electronics Engineering to manage projects for a large semiconductor company based in Bristol (hybrid/remote). The details for the role are below

Remuneration: Salary £115k - £150k plus RSU's $153k - $254k
Location: Bristol Hybrid / 2 days per week

The role responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the complete value chain of end customers, manufacturers, and designers of hardware, software, and systems. This includes productization, support and quality assurance relating to what we deliver to those customers.
  • Gather specific market segment needs and translate these into product plans.
  • Work with internal engineering teams and Software vendors to prioritize features and enhancements meeting customer needs.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrable experience with creation and management of software requirements (preferably in a software/electronics product delivery context), and an understanding of how they are validated and delivered to required levels of quality.
  • Ability to express ideas and communicate effectively with other team members, customers, and suppliers to formulate, agree, and implement strategic plans.
  • Software development experience, for example with firmware, operating systems or application development
