Project Manager - FTC
  • Annual Salary: Up to £60,000 plus up to 10% bonus
  • Location: Bristol City Centre - Hybrid working offered 2/3 days a week on site.

We are looking for a Project Manager to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading projects that align with our company’s strategy, commitments, and goals. This role is crucial in delivering key changes and helping us achieve our business objectives as part of the Portfolio Office.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Oversee the direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget, including the creation and maintenance of project plans.
  • Manage resources, work with third parties and strategic partners, and provide best practice on project management frameworks.
  • Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Align with stakeholders across the business to deliver the project and manage 3rd party suppliers to meet time, cost, and quality expectations.
  • Communicate effectively with IT teams and business members at all levels and identify and manage risks to ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain knowledge of business areas and competitor activities and stay updated with trends within your professional area.
  • Share best practices and be principled in delivering a world-class student and employee experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with key business partners.
  • A proven track record for planning, executing, controlling, and closing projects.
  • Experience with both agile and waterfall methodologies and working within a PMO environment.
  • Desirable experience with Oracle Fusion and Salesforce.
  • Proven experience in Business Change Techniques and delivering projects with bespoke and package solutions.
  • Ability to translate technical language into clear terms for non-IT colleagues.
  • PMP/Prince 2 certification is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of data protection legislation and maintaining a secure environment for personal data.
