Hays are supporting a professional services organisation in central Bristol who are recruiting for a 6-month fixed-term contract IT service desk analyst (1st line). The role will pay c£26,000 depending on experience and offers flexible hybrid working, typically 2 days per week on site in the city centre, although you could go in more often if preferred.
In the role, you will join the busy IT function to support the service desk with 1st line technical support queries. You'll manage tickets and incidents that come through the service desk, providing excellent technical user support across software and applications, including Microsoft 365 and Windows server. You will escalate tickets when necessary and support some basic hardware / desktop support with users face to face. You will need to have similar experience in an IT service desk role and be confident dealing with users. You'll also need to be able to hit the ground running and work independently when necessary.
