JOB TITLE: IT Trainer

LOCATION: Bristol - hybrid

THE PACKAGE: £45,000 - £55,000

THE OPPORTUNITY:

  • Develop and maintain expertise in firm software and systems
  • Lead the design and delivery of IT inductions and ongoing software training.
  • Identify and provide additional user training as needed.
  • Collaborate with external software suppliers to stay updated and resolve training issues.
  • Support and upskill the IT helpdesk by sharing system knowledge and solutions.
  • Ensure user guidance materials (guides, videos, infographics) are current and accessible.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining IT policies and processes.
  • Foster strong relationships with staff across all offices and establish local training experts.

THE SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • A qualification at HND level or higher in IT, Computer Science, or Training & Development is desirable.
  • Previous experience in a similar training-focused role, ideally within a legal or professional services setting, would be beneficial.
  • Strong IT skills with the ability to quickly learn new systems and clearly explain their use and functionality to end users.
  • Proven experience in delivering training across various IT platforms, including remote sessions and one-to-one desk-side support.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport at all levels within the organisation.
  • Skilled in designing and delivering training that is engaging, inclusive, and tailored to different learning styles and levels of experience.
  • Well-organised, with the ability to manage your own workload and training calendar effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex information, distinguish between essential and non-essential requirements, and tailor training to meet business needs.
