The Position as an Assistant Town Planner:
- Conduct research and analysis to support planning applications.
- Manage and prepare planning applications, appeals, and policy representations.
- Liaise with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression.
- Provide expert planning advice tailored to client needs.
- Stay updated on planning regulations and legislative changes.
Essential Criteria as an Assistant Town Planner:
- Previous planning experience in a similar position
- A degree accredited by the RTPI (or equivalent) in planning or a related field within the built environment
- Strong problem-solving, research, and analytical skills
- RTPI accreditation is desirable, with mentoring available to support the APC process
