The Position as an Assistant Town Planner:

Conduct research and analysis to support planning applications.
Manage and prepare planning applications, appeals, and policy representations.
Liaise with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression.
Provide expert planning advice tailored to client needs.
Stay updated on planning regulations and legislative changes.

Essential Criteria as an Assistant Town Planner:

Previous planning experience in a similar position
A degree accredited by the RTPI (or equivalent) in planning or a related field within the built environment
Strong problem-solving, research, and analytical skills
RTPI accreditation is desirable, with mentoring available to support the APC process
