Senior Town Planner MRTPI - Bristol

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on a variety of planning applications, from initial consultation through to submission and appeal.
  • Provide strategic planning advice to clients, guiding them through the complexities of the planning process.

  • Engage with key stakeholders, including local authorities, developers, and other consultants, to achieve the best outcomes for clients.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • MRTPI qualification is essential.
  • Proven experience in a Town Planning role, ideally within a consultancy or local authority setting.
  • Strong knowledge of UK planning law, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a client-focused approach.
  • Experience in handling a wide range of planning applications, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use schemes.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
