Senior Town Planner MRTPI - Bristol

We are looking for a Senior Town Planner (MRTPI) to join a well-established planning consultancy in Bristol. This is a fantastic chance to further your career in a supportive and dynamic environment, working with a team of industry-leading professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead on a variety of planning applications, from initial consultation through to submission and appeal.
Provide strategic planning advice to clients, guiding them through the complexities of the planning process.
Prepare and review planning reports, applications, and supporting documents.
Engage with key stakeholders, including local authorities, developers, and other consultants, to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
Manage your own caseload and maintain strong relationships with clients, delivering high-quality service and results.
Stay up to date with planning policies, regulations, and industry best practices.

Essential Skills and Experience:

MRTPI qualification is essential.
Proven experience in a Town Planning role, ideally within a consultancy or local authority setting.
Strong knowledge of UK planning law, policies, and procedures.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a client-focused approach.
Experience in handling a wide range of planning applications, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use schemes.
A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
