About the Role:An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and motivated Town Planner to join my client's Planning team in Bristol. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality planning services across a diverse range of projects, including commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to shaping the future of urban spaces through innovative planning strategies and expert consultancy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert planning advice to clients across various sectors, including residential, commercial, and industrial developments.

  • Manage planning applications, appeals, and strategic planning projects.

  • Conduct research and analysis to support planning proposals and policy development.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop innovative and sustainable planning solutions.

  • Engage with local authorities, communities, and other key stakeholders to navigate the planning process effectively.

  • Keep up to date with planning policies, regulations, and market trends to ensure best practice.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Town Planning, Urban Planning, or a related field.

  • MRTPI qualification or working towards full membership.

  • Proven experience in a planning consultancy, local authority, or related environment.

  • Strong understanding of UK planning policies, legislation, and regulations.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

  • A proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving.
