About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and motivated Town Planner to join my client's Planning team in Bristol. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality planning services across a diverse range of projects, including commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to shaping the future of urban spaces through innovative planning strategies and expert consultancy.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert planning advice to clients across various sectors, including residential, commercial, and industrial developments.
Manage planning applications, appeals, and strategic planning projects.
Conduct research and analysis to support planning proposals and policy development.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop innovative and sustainable planning solutions.
Engage with local authorities, communities, and other key stakeholders to navigate the planning process effectively.
Keep up to date with planning policies, regulations, and market trends to ensure best practice.

Requirements:

Degree in Town Planning, Urban Planning, or a related field.
MRTPI qualification or working towards full membership.
Proven experience in a planning consultancy, local authority, or related environment.
Strong understanding of UK planning policies, legislation, and regulations.
Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
A proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving.
