Your new firmThis highly regarded and top directory rated national firm has an impressive national presence in the Construction sector. On the back of doubling their team revenue in the last 4 years, the Construction team are looking to strategically invest with the hire of an experienced Contentious Construction Legal Director or Partner for their Bristol or Birmingham teams. Your new roleWith a broad ranging practice providing comprehensive contentious and non-contentious advice, this team have a diverse client base spanning the housing, local authority, education, health, renewable energy, infrastructure, rail, highways and registered provider sectors. The team advise on a broad range of contentious issues ranging from energy and waste disputes, to major development and regeneration scheme disputes. The team have specific expertise in advising on high profile and novel PFI dispute resolution procedures.Having been enjoying sustained growth over recent years, they are now keen to strategically invest in their senior capacity with the hire of an experienced Contentious Construction lawyer.What you'll need to succeedYou will be a leading construction lawyer yourself and have developed expertise in handling predominantly contentious construction work (though experience of providing non-contentious advice would be beneficial) and have worked for a leading construction team. Experience of advising clients in the public sector, or clients supplying into the public sector, would be a distinct advantage, though this team is open minded on speaking to senior construction lawyers who do not have this background.
