Responsibilities:As the Head of Energy Practice, you will:

  • Lead and expand the firm's energy sector practise, providing strategic direction and thought leadership.
  • Advise clients on complex energy-related legal and commercial matters, including renewable energy projects, regulatory compliance, transactions, and disputes.
  • Develop and implement innovative business development strategies to attract and retain clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, regulators, and industry partners.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends, regulatory changes, and market developments to provide clients with cutting-edge insights.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and cross-sector specialists to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.
  • Mentor and develop junior lawyers and team members, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Proven experience in the energy sector, with a robust understanding of legal, regulatory, and commercial frameworks.
  • A track record of leadership, business development, and team management.
  • Expertise in advising on energy transactions, infrastructure projects, and regulatory compliance.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
