Maternity Leave Family Law Solicitor, Gloucestershire

This is an opportunity specifically to cover a solicitor for 12 months initially starting in June 2025 - with a view to seeing where we are beyond that. The ideal scenario is to get someone in before the solicitor leaves so that there is a suitable handover.

The firm are small but perfectly formed firm with outstanding leadership within Family Law are looking to bring in support to cover Family Law - a privately funded caseload covering Private child, Divorce, Matrimonial and Finances.

The person going off is at 3 years PQE but any level of experience will be considered provided you are self-sufficient and able to work the non-complex stuff with minimal supervision. The role will be desk based as a main partner does most of the contentious work in court.

The firm are in a high street location with parking nearby, there is 25 days annual leave plus time off at christmas and flexibility once you are through probation and got an understanding of the where all the cases are up to.

The firm do not do legal aid whatsoever.

You'll be supported by legal assistants and paralegals.

You can expect to pick up an initial caseload of 50-60 files.

The firm have modern case management systems.
