One of the leading firms specialising in shared ownership work, with a long-standing reputation on housing association panels for excellence in this field. The Role A motivated Residential Property Solicitor or Lawyer with expertise in shared ownership. This role involves handling shared ownership property transactions, including buying, selling, staircasing, and lease extensions. Due to the complexity of shared ownership compared to traditional residential property transactions, candidates should possess strong technical skills and a client-focused approach. This will involve managing all aspects of shared ownership transactions, including purchases, sales, staircasing, and lease extensions, with meticulous attention to detail. You will communicate complex legal issues in clear, jargon-free language, prioritising clients’ interests and ensuring understanding at each stage. You will provide transparent, itemised quotations to ensure clients understand all costs involved, and work collaboratively within the team to streamline processes. By proactively resolving issues, you will facilitate efficient, stress-free transactions and consistently deliver a high standard of client service, even in challenging situations. You You will be a UK-qualified solicitor or licensed conveyancer with post-qualification experience in residential property law, specifically skilled in shared ownership transactions, including staircasing and lease extensions. You will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to simplify complex concepts for clients. With a strong client-focused approach, you will; prioritise customer service, be highly detail-oriented, and manage multiple files accurately.
