- BTEC or equivalent in quality assurance or a similar background is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- Experience in a quality-related role, preferably within a regulated environment.
- Knowledge of QMS principles and ISO 9001 (or other relevant quality standards).
- Strong administrative skills, including document control experience.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

- Manage document control, ensuring all quality records are up-to-date and properly stored.
- Assist in training staff on quality procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action processes.
- Collaborate with different departments to ensure quality standards are met.
- Generate and analyze quality reports to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist in handling customer complaints and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
- Perform administrative tasks related to the QMS, such as scheduling meetings and updating databases.
- Ensure the company's Quality Management System is defined, implemented, audited, and monitored to comply with customers’ quality standards as well as BS EN ISO 9001 & BS EN ISO 17025.
- Work closely with the Technical, Quality & Risk Manager and other departments to identify and address issues.
- Maintain the Quality Manual and all documents within the quality system.
- Identify deviations from the quality management system or laboratory procedures.
- Ensure the integrity of the management system is maintained during changes.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of policies and procedures using key performance indicators.
- Record and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement corrective actions to address quality issues.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of quality assurance activities.
- Participate in the development and review of quality control procedures and policies.
- Communicate quality-related issues to management and stakeholders.
- Conduct training on quality control procedures and standards.
- Stay up to date with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Respond to customer complaints and concerns.
- Support quality improvement initiatives.
- Monitor supplier quality to ensure compliance with requirements.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to improve quality and reduce costs.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Technical, Quality & Risk Manager.
