QA Engineer

Permanent / £35,000

Bristol / Hybrid / 3 days on site

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer to join a tech for good business. The QA Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance processes, conducting inspections, and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong problem solving skills, and a passion for maintaining excellence in manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of manufacturing processes and products.
  • Identify and document any quality issues and work with production teams to resolve them.
  • Perform root cause analysis on defects and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop and refine quality control plans.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Prepare and present quality reports to management.
  • Train and mentor production staff on quality assurance best practices.

Experience:

  • ISEB Qualification
  • Proven experience as a QA Engineer
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
