I am supporting a well established Bristol Law firm, who has a new opportunity for a Secretary to join the planning & infrastructure team to support lawyers and help serve the needs of our clients. The firm provides planning advice to clients from the education, charity and public sectors as well as helping landowners and developers. Our planning work may be stand-alone or working closely with our construction, commercial property and property litigation teams.

In this role you'll be invaluable by taking ownership of the legal administration tasks to allow our lawyers to focus on business generation. You'll deliver a full range of secretarial and admin support such as maintaining Lexcel compliant files, assist with the drafting of client correspondence and reports as well as become familiar with the firm's compliance procedures for letters of engagement, file opening, money laundering, archiving, billing and client accounts. You'll get involved with ad-hoc project work when required and have the opportunity to brush up on those all-important client facing skills as you play a key part in gathering relevant information from clients to assist the lawyers with their enquiries.
