Landlord & Tenant Senior Paralegal

Salary: £33,000 +Location: Bristol or LeedsContract Type: Permanent, Full or Part TimeThe RoleA technically adept and commercially aware paralegal is sought to join the Civil Litigation Division within this leading regional law firm. This role involves managing litigated claims across a spectrum of commercial and residential landlord & tenant, and leaseholder & freeholder disputes.

ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will support the case handlers within the department while managing a caseload of complex leaseholder/freeholder disputes and commercial landlord & tenant cases. Assisting the Partner in Charge of the Landlord and Tenant team, you may also take on supervisory responsibilities. Active participation in business development and maintaining relationships with insurer clients is expected. Meeting strict deadlines and adhering to service standards is crucial.

Skills and Experience- Intellectual Curiosity: A keen interest in the intricacies of landlord and tenant law.- Commercial Acumen: Ability to balance legal expertise with commercial considerations.- Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience in handling landlord and tenant disputes.-Supervisory Skills: Prior experience in a supervisory role.- Flexibility: Adaptability to manage a diverse range of work types, sources, and clients.- Responsibility: Confidence to take ownership of cases, client relationships, and strategic decisions.- Team Player: Strong collaborative skills.- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.- Technical Proficiency: Competence with case management systems.

Educational RequirementsCandidates should have significant experience in landlord and tenant disputes. While qualifications as a solicitor, FCILEx, or barrister are advantageous, they are not essential.
