Logistics Coordinator / Inventory Coordinator

ARCA Resourcing is excited to present an opportunity for an Logistics Coordinator / Inventory Controller role at a forward-thinking engineering company that is transforming its industry with cutting-edge technology. The Role

As an Inventory Controller, you will be a key player in managing inventory operations. Your role will involve overseeing the storage, organisation, and tracking of materials and components crucial to our manufacturing processes. You will maintain accurate inventory records, optimise stock levels, and work closely with various departments to ensure seamless production.

Key Responsibilities

Goods In/Goods Out Management

  • Conduct physical inspections of incoming goods.
  • Process warehouse receipts in the ERP system and organise stock in designated locations (forklift operation skills desirable).
  • Manage supplier returns and create delivery notes for customers and suppliers.
  • Oversee stock checks and ensure ERP system accuracy with regular and rolling inventory audits.
  • Take responsibility for year-end stocktaking activities.
  • Regularly review stock for obsolescence.
  • Manage the operational aspects of the non-conformance process, including inspection and quality checks.
  • Scan and file Certificates of Conformance (CoCs).

Production Support

  • Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) using business systems.
  • Generate production orders and warehouse picks, collaborating with the Build team to ensure timely and accurate stock consumption for projects.
  • Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies within the system.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with Finance and Procurement teams on stock-related issues.
  • Support the Build team with kitting and stock availability.
  • Communicate accurately and promptly with internal and external stakeholders.
