Job Specification: Account ManagerLocation: AvonmouthSalary: £28,000Working Hours: Monday - Thursday: 07:30 to 16:30 & Friday: 07:30 - 16:00Benefits: On-site ParkingRole Overview:As the Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Operations Manager in planning and organising House Build contracts. You will ensure that all health and safety requirements are met, support material and labour needs, and maintain the highest standards of fitting as required by the customer.Main DutiesOversee the day-to-day management of remedials, including administrative tasks such as booking works, data entry, and invoicing upon completion.Collate site documents pre- and post-installation, ensuring all necessary records are accurate and up to date.Manage the customer care inbox, responding to inquiries and coordinating necessary actions.Assist in organising and managing in-house labour and subcontractors, ensuring work is carried out efficiently and to required standards.Prepare and personalise job packs, ensuring all necessary documentation is in place for the Operations Manager to allocate daily work for fitters.Create and manage fitter pricing.Ensure fitters submit all necessary paperwork, compiling contract files to facilitate smooth invoicing by Finance.Support the Operations Manager in budget control, keeping updated costing sheets for each contract and conducting timely re-costing.Handle incoming calls from sales teams, site managers, and customers.Proactively chase sign-offs via phone and email to enable prompt job invoicing.Skills RequiredPrevious experience in account management or sales account management.A sound commercial approach to identifying and resolving issues.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with office staff, site personnel, fitters, subcontractors, and suppliers.Strong IT skills, with the ability to manage administrative tasks efficiently.Full UK driver's licence is essential.Experience using Sage and Act is advantageous.A proven track record in contract and domestic flooring is desirable.If you are a highly organised and proactive individual with a background in account management and contract coordination, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity
