Job Purpose:
My client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Assistant to support the Project Management team. This role focuses on administrative support and document control, helping ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote Company Values: Support and promote my client's culture and values in daily tasks.
  • Document Management: Maintain project documentation registers (incoming and outgoing) in line with required standards.
  • Quality Checks: Review documents, ensuring quality and accuracy before formal recording and issuance.
  • System Maintenance: Keep the Document Management System (SharePoint) current and organised.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with various administrative tasks across projects, including:
    • Formatting key documents and reports
    • Coordinating travel arrangements for team members
    • Recording travel expenses for project invoicing
    • Performing other duties as required within the role's scope.
  • Audit Compliance: Support internal audits to ensure procedural compliance and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Equality & Diversity Compliance: Maintain awareness of and comply with my client's policy on Equality & Diversity.

Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to Nuclear Safety principles and policies.
  • Follow Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental procedures.
  • Adopt a proactive safety approach, reporting unsafe practices and participating in a culture of improvement.
  • Practice good housekeeping and participate in HSEQ (Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental) initiatives.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required:

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Self-motivated, organised, with a proactive approach to work.
  • A learning-oriented mindset, open to development and growth.
