Reed is recruiting on behalf of a well-established South Bristol-based client for a Sales Order Administrator, on a full time, permanent basis.

We are on the lookout for someone who is meticulous to ensure the precision of new orders and to facilitate a seamless customer experience from order to delivery. This role is pivotal in maintaining high customer satisfaction and requires exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills.

The role is a blend of Updates and Orders.

Duties:

Liaising with suppliers and providing timely updates to customers based on the information received.

Proactively chasing order Estimated Time of Arrivals (ETAs) and managing internal order tracking spreadsheets.

Keeping the internal Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system up to date with the latest supplier information.

Efficiently managing the Updates Mailbox, responding to and actioning emails.

Assisting customers with any queries during the wait for their vehicle and managing expectations.

Setting internal order holds to inform the Sales team of any product issues.

Ensuring all Orders are accurate before dispatch to the supplying dealer, including verification of finance documents, product specifications, and figures.

Collaborating with the sales team to amend orders as required.

Requirements:

Experience in Customer Service and/or the Automotive Industry is highly desirable.

Administrative experience with a strong command of Microsoft Office packages.

A proven track record of working with accuracy and high attention to detail, particularly under pressure.

Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and effectively prioritise tasks amidst a busy workload.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.

Previous experience in a phone-based customer service role is advantageous.

Monday to Thursday, 9.00am - 5.30pm. Friday, 9.00am – 5.00pm.
