Daniel Owen Agency is seeking an experienced Cleaning Site Manager to oversee operations at the GWR Hitachi site in Bristol. This role is ideal for a motivated leader with a strong background in cleaning and facilities management (FM), preferably with some rail industry knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a team of 30-40 cleaning operatives to ensure high standards are met
- Overseeing cleaning operations across the site, including outdoor areas
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations
- Conducting inspections, audits, and performance monitoring
- Liaising with senior management and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- Strong cleaning and FM background (rail experience is desirable but not essential)
- Ability to pass a safety-critical medical and the Hitachi LTSA test
- Experience managing large teams in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
