Site Manager - The Company:
Our client is a major builder developer both in the transformation of space and refurbishement projects within the Student accommodation sector. The construction arm self-delivers Student Accomodation projects and has an annnual turnover of 50m
Site Manager - The Role:
A fantastic opportunity for an experienced construction Site Managerto join the construction team on a permanent basis.
The constuction business delivers work on behalf of the Development arm which means a steady flow of projects without the stress of competitive tendering. Projects are varied on both new build construction and refurbishement/transformation of space but typically within the Student accomodation sector. Projects can be tyopiucally around the 7-9m mark but as small as 200k and large as 15m. You will be responsible for leading the day to day H&S and management of sub contractors. The role will report to a Contracts Manager and be responsible for day to day delivery of site operations.
Site Manager - The Person:
- You will have a valid SMSTS certificate
- First Aid Qualified
- You must have worked for a main contractor
- Demonstrable experience of delivering construction projects to programme with supervisory experience.
- Refurbishment experience
- Experience on jobs up to 5m +
- Experience in managing sub-contractors and direct wok-force
- High calibre individual who is committed to quality and programme
